About Us

Raymond Wilson and his three sons Dennis, Duane, and Dale began growing grapes in Acampo, part of the Lodi Appellation, in the late 1970's. They began with Tokay grapes and in the years following added Zinfandel, Primitivo, and Petite Sirah.

The Wilson family mainly farmed for much larger wineries but when they began harvesting the Tokay, Ray began experimenting with home wine making.

In 2015 JR and Krystal Wilson made Wilson Family Winery a commercial operation. Today much of the family is involved in the wine making process and Wilson Family Winery continues to be proudly family owned and operated.
